Wilmington man placed on 100000 bond for multiple gas station robberies

first_imgWILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police have charged a man with crimes that happened at three separate gas stations.Police arrested James Jeffrey Ramsey, 50, today for robbing the Phoenix Mart on South 17th street earlier this month. Police say he also robbed the Scotchman at 898 South Kerr Avenue back in August.- Advertisement – He’s charged with two counts of Armed Robbery and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.Ramsey is also charged with Larceny by an Employee for an incident that happened while he worked for the Shop and Go at 1620 Market Street.He is in the New Hanover County Detention Center under a $100,000 bond.last_img
