first_imgFacebook28Tweet0Pin0Submitted by Washington State Department of TransportationDuring the evening of Thursday June 25, overnight travelers who use southbound US 101 to reach southbound Interstate 5 are encouraged to give themselves extra time.Tumwater10:00 p.m. Thursday, June 25 to 5:00 a.m. Friday, June 26The southbound US 101 on-ramp to southbound I-5 will close.Travelers will detour via northbound I-5, Port of Olympia/Henderson Boulevard and southbound I-5.The overnight detour will allow Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews to seal cracks which extends the useful life of the roadway.During the evening of, Friday, June 26, crews will close the two ramps at the Marvin Road interchange for paving.
