A travel technology deal has been struck that will enable an airline to provide access to copious hotel data, involving the services of a leading global distribution system (GDS) provider.Holiday bookings site Lastminute.com has added Aer Lingus to its white label and affiliate Partner Network, with Sabre’s hotel inventory providing the basis for the airline’s new provision.Lastminute.com’s Partner Network was founded last year, creating a network of clients to whom Sabre’s complete hotel inventory is wholesaled. As many as 40,000 hotels from Sabre’s GDS are linked into by the Lastminute.com service, now allowing Aer Lingus customers access to sophisticated booking opportunities.
